A 28-year-old man has been killed in a crash at Bibiani Anhwiaso in the Bekwai Municipality in the Western North Region after a head-on collision with a Sieta car.
The deceased popularly known in Bibiani as Santiago was riding an unregistered motorbike and upon reaching the section of the Bibiani main road had a head-on collision with a Sieta with registration number WN 325-26 moving in the opposite direction.
According to an eyewitness, Agyemang Quddus, he heard a loud sound and thought it was a vehicle that had hit a pothole.
He added that after hearing the sound he proceeded to the scene and the passengers in the Sieta informed him about the accident.
The deceased have been deposited in the morgue at Bekwai Hospital as the police have launched a full investigation into the cause of the accident.
