A 25-year-old man identified as Lorlorne Kudah has allegedly been stabbed to death at Akame in the Ketu Municipality in the Volta Region.
The incident reportedly occurred on Thursday, October 22, 2026, around 7:00 p.m., near the One District One (1D1F) cassava processing factory in Ketu.
Mr. Winfred Kwabla, the Assemblyman of Akame Electoral Area speaking on the case alleges that the suspect identified as Kwame Tsali is on the run and has yet to be apprehended.
According to Mr. Kwabla, a woman alleged to be linked to the incident is new to the community and has informed the police that her husband is responsible for the killing of Lorlorne.
Mr. Kwabla added that th father and the brother of the suspect confirmed that the suspect went out of his house but could not give the police the day he would return home.
The police have urged the residents to report any information regarding the victim and have launched a full investigation into the matter.
