Bimbilla NPP Chairman resigns from his chairmanship position
A concerning issue has occurred in the New Patriotic Party: one of their Constituency chairmen and financiers has resigned from his position.
The Bimbilla constituency chairman of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Mr. Mbow Mohammed, has officially resigned from his position after thirty-four years of service.
In a formal resignation letter issued from the office of the Bimbilla NPP Constituency Chairman, dated 18th May, 2026, Mr. Mbow Mohammed made his plans to lay down his position known to the party.

“I write to formally resign from my position as the Bimbilla Constituency Chairman of the NPP, effective today, 18th May 2026,” he stated
Mr. Mbow named his consistent support to the party since becoming the Bimbilla Constituency Chairman in 1992; he talked about his dedicated time, money, energy, and resources to the growth of the party.
“Since becoming a member in good standing of the party in 1992, I have dedicated my time, energy, and resources to the growth and strengthening of the party at all levels.”
“Over the years, I have supported the party financially, physically, and spiritually, always believing in its vision, values, and mission for the betterment of our people and nation.”
“Serving the party in various capacities, particularly as Constituency Chairman, has been an honor and privilege that I will always cherish.”

“Together with dedicated party executives, members, and supporters, we have worked tirelessly to advance the interests of the party within the constituency and beyond.”
He later identified his intentions of stepping from the throne of chairmanship, stating that the decision to step aside is crucial to him to regain his respect, personal peace, and strength.
“However, after careful reflection and consideration, I believe this is the appropriate time for me to take a back seat from active leadership responsibilities.”
“This decision has become necessary to allow me to regain my respect, personal peace, and strength, while remaining committed to contributing meaningfully to the growth, unity, and success of the party,” he added by throwing more light on his resignation.

In clearing up all about his membership and commitment to the party, the Bimbilla NPP Constituency Chairman set the record straight, adding that his resignation has nothing to do with leaving the party.
It is the position he holds in the party that he’s laying down for someone more energetic than him to take over and run the affairs.
“I wish to state clearly that my resignation from office does not in any way mean resignation from the party. I remain a loyal and committed member and will continue to support the vision and electoral fortunes of the party towards the 2028 General Elections and beyond,” he stated emphatically.
He later extended his unusual gratitude to the leadership of the New Patriotic Party, and he’s coming out of their midst, and later prayed for good fortunes to fall on the party.
“I extend my profound gratitude to the national, regional, constituency, and electoral area, and polling station executives, as well as the rank and file of the party for their cooperation, encouragement, and support throughout my years of service.”
“I pray that the Almighty God continues to guide and strengthen the party into greater success. Thank You.”
