The Legendary Nollywood Actor, Olu Jacobs has suddenly passed away at age 84 bringing an end to the remarkable career of the legend.
The veteran actor’s death was announced on 16th September, 2026, by his immediate family, who described him as a father, uncle, and husband.
They described the life lived by the legend as well-lived and dedicated to his craft.
Olu Jacobs’ family has urged the public especially bloggers and media personalities to respect their privacy as they mourn their beloved during these hard times.
“We urged all bloggers and social media influencers to respect the family’s privacy during this time”.
Olu Jacobs has been featured in numerous Nollywood and international movies making him one of the respected figures in the Nigerian movie industry.
His loss serves as a big blow to Nollywood because of his impact on the current generation of actors and actresses.
