The National Service Authority (NSA) has released the postings of nurses and midwives who passed their licensure examination and are now eligible to begin their National Service.
NSA released a total of eighteen thousand six hundred and seventeen (18,617) eligible nurses and midwives to proceed with their validation from Monday, June, 22 to Friday, July, 10, 2026 for the service year and begin formally on July, 1, 2026.
In the statement released by the NSA and signed by the Director-General of the NSA, Mrs Ruth Dela Seddoh, all eligible personnel are expected to check in to the Authority’s website for their details.

It was further stated that all stakeholders and employers are to receive the personnel and allow them to work in a serene environment since it is a legal obligation under the NSA Act 2024 (Act 1119).
Mrs. Seddoh urged that the employers should validate the NSA status of the personnel before offering them a job.
It was further stated that any employer who offers a job to the NSA personnel without consulting the service will face a penalty of GHS 5,000.
Mrs. Seddoh urged all nurses and midwives under the scheme to complete the validation process to ensure smooth work in the service year.
