BECE 2026: Two students killed in a motor accident in the Upper West Region

A very heartbreaking and devastating news has emerged on the internet, reaching the ends of PENYAH BLOG MEDIA, surrounding the ongoing Basic Education Certificate Examination takeoff.

Unfortunately, two BECE students have allegedly lost their precious lives in a tragic motor accident, without even taking part in the first two papers, which start the BECE 2026 Examination.

This heartbreaking news emerged from the Upper West regional part of the country, in a community called ‘Charia’.

The two BECE candidates, namely Taufii Ibrahim and Abdul Khalid of Charia Roman Catholic Junior High School, have faced their untimely death, which has brought a shadow over the community.

According to reports, they faced their untimely death while the two of them were riding on a motorcycle in the Wa township. Claims suggest they were engaged in a routine movement in Wa town at the time of the crash, rather than traveling toward any BECE 2026 examination center.

After the accident, they were rushed to the nearby health facility by Emergency responders, but to no avail. Taufii Ibrahim was pronounced dead on arrival at the health facility, while Abdul also gave up after some hours in the day.

This saddest loss of the two students has caused a shadow to cover the school and the surrounding community, with residents expressing grief over the loss of the two students.

Their bodies have been taken to the mortuary for preparation.
