Betty Krosbi Mensah has resigned from her position as National Coordinator for Recreation and Wellness after a few months when President John Dramani Mahama appointed her.

Her resignation letter which she submitted to the President through the Secretary through the Minister of Sport and Recreation described her resignation as a concern.

In her letter, she expressed her gratitude to the president for the opportunity offered to her by appointing her to a position.

The former Member of Parliament for Afraim Plains who received the letter on behalf of the Recreation and Wellbeing informed the public that, her decision is driven by the pursuit of her political ambition as the National Women Organizer for the New Democratic Congress (NDC).

As part of the NDC internal election, all executives holding offices have been directed to resign ahead of the election.

And her decision to resign from her office is in line with the party’s directive.

She took the opportunity to thank the president for her official appointment and officially exited her role to pursue her political vision.
