Sarah Adwoa Sarfo, the former Member of Parliament for the Dome-Kwabenya Constituency has reportedly been shot by unknown gunmen and is currently receiving treatment.
According to the report, the gunmen allegedly opened fire on her vehicle near the residence of her young brother, Israel Kwadwo Sarfo also known as Nana Kwadwo Safo Akofena.

According to an eyewitness, about fifteen rounds of ammunition were fired at the vehicle which was carrying the former member of parliament leaving some bullets penetrating her body.

The incident, which has shocked many, is alleged to have happened at the younger brother’s place, where he was organizing men to install him as the successor to the late father, Apostle Erimetus Kwadwo Sarfo.
The Police of Dome-Kwabenya after hearing the incident deployed police personnel to the scene to restore calmness and peace among them.
The rising tension surrounds the successor of the late father, Apostle Sarfo Kantanka who sadly passed away a couple of months ago.
The final funeral rite of the late father is scheduled to take place on July, 31, 2026 which the family in their press conference invited all sympathisers to mourn with them.
She is currently responding to treatment.
